The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, has congratulated the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Prof. Nora Daduu’t, on her “well deserved victory in the just concluded Plateau south senatorial bye-election.”
A congratulatory massage issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammed Puma, on Sunday described the victory as a confirmation that the people of southern senatorial district still have confidence in the ruling APC.
He commended the people of Plateau State for coming out in their numbers and voting for APC in a peaceful manner, and urged them to have faith in the party for sustainable development.
Wase also applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies for doing their best within the ambit of the law to ensure free, fair and credible elections.
