The First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) group’s commitment to providing good quality life for its employees has earned the financial service giant the Platinum Certification as a Great Workplace at the 2020 ‘Great Workplace To Work Award’ ceremony.
According to the Group Managing Director of FBN Holdings Plc, UK Eke, the award “is a reflection of the commitment and efforts of the FBN Holdings Group management in providing and building quality life for all our employees.
“The awards also demonstrate our recognition of the critical importance of all our employees as we seek to remain the ‘hub for the best industry talent’ towards the delivery of our overall strategic objectives.”
No fewer than 12 awards were won by FBN, a strong indication of the bank’s leadership in the sector, particularly in the areas of employees’ welfare and customers’ satisfaction, keen financial analysts say.
As the biggest winner in this year’s award, FBN was also awarded the Best Workplace for Millennials; Best in Leadership Practice and Best Workplace for Women and 2nd Best Workplace.
The retail lender also received a gold certificate as a Great Workplace, the Best Workplace in Learning and Development and the 5th Best Workplace in the Large Corporates Category.
In the Medium-sized Corporate category, FBNQuest Merchant Bank and FBNQuest Trustees were adjudged the 4th and 5th best workplace ranking, as well as Gold Certification as a Great Workplace, while FBNQuest Capital received a Silver Certification.
