Management of the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) said it has no record of shooting on October 20, 2020 during the #EndSARS protest, which took place at its facility, because the cameras were tampered with. LCC told the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
The Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa, submitted the video footage to the judicial panel set up to investigate reports of police brutality and extrajudicial killings by operatives of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
“I can confirm that inside here is the video footage that our surveillance camera was able to record for the 20th of October. No shooting captured”.
