Applicants under the Graduate Category should visit the CDCFIB recruitment portal between Monday and Wednesday to confirm their status and access relevant information

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has directed successful applicants in its ongoing recruitment exercise to visit the official recruitment portal to check their oral interview dates and venues.
The board made this known in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by its Secretary, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril.
According to Jubril, candidates who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening exercise for recruitment into the four paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior are required to check the board’s portal for their qualification and invitation letters.
The agencies involved are the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and Federal Fire Service (FFS).
Jubril said the board had completed the assessment and shortlisting process for the recruitment exercise and urged successful candidates to follow the instructions on the official portal.
He said applicants under the Graduate Category should visit the CDCFIB recruitment portal between Monday and Wednesday to confirm their status and access relevant information.
Similarly, candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications are expected to visit the portal between September 7 and 9, 2026, to check whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to select an interview venue closest to them, as well as their preferred date and time, after which they are expected to print their invitation letters.
The board advised candidates to adhere strictly to the dress code specified in their invitation letters and warned that only applicants who have been officially shortlisted for the final stage of the exercise would be allowed into the interview venues.
“For the avoidance of doubt, only candidates who are shortlisted for this final exercise will be granted access to the venue,” Jubril said.
The CDCFIB Secretary also warned applicants against fraudulent messages and individuals demanding money in exchange for employment.
He clarified that the board does not send recruitment-related emails and urged candidates to rely solely on information published through the official recruitment portal and authorised communication channels.
Jubril reiterated that the recruitment exercise is transparent and completely free of charge, advising applicants to report anyone demanding payment for employment to the nearest security agency or appropriate authority.
He further urged all candidates to carefully note the official CDCFIB recruitment portal and monitor it for subsequent updates concerning the recruitment exercise.
